Giving to Longy

HOW YOUR GIFT WILL HELP
Generous annual support from friends of Longy allows the school to offer superb music education programs, hundreds of free concerts a year, outreach to public schools, scholarship assistance to financially disadvantaged children in the Preparatory Studies program, and to maintain our historic campus. There are many ways to contribute to Longy, including:

  • Give to Longy’s annual fund by check or credit card (click here).
  • Establish a named scholarship in honor of family or friends.
  • Donate stocks or real estate.
  • Consider a naming opportunity at either the Zabriskie Building or the Rey-Waldstein Building.
  • Include Longy in your estate planning through bequests and charitable remainder trusts.

Georges Longy Circle
We invite you to join this special group of leadership donors. Your gift of $1,000 or more will help Longy to continue to advance the legacy of Georges Longy—a champion of new music, a supporter of women performers, and a creator of a rigorous standard of training that permanently raised American standards. Our mission is to offer the highest standard of music and music education to the whole community.

Members of the Georges Longy Circle receive invitations to special events throughout the year. In addition, special lectures bring you inside the creative process, and offer historical and theoretical perspectives on music and composers. You will have an opportunity to meet new friends who share a similar interest in music.
