Located in vibrant Harvard Square, Longy School of Music is a degree-granting Conservatory that also offers Community Programs for children and adults. Our mission: Preparing musicians to make a difference in the world.
Along with classes and degree programs, Longy’s public concert schedule includes dozens of programs each year ranging from baroque to jazz.

SPOTLIGHT
Dalcroze faculty member Eiko Ishizuka has been accepted to the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze as a candidate for the Diplôme Supérieur. Ishizuka joins Longy faculty member Lisa Parker as one of only three Americans who have received this honor in the past 25 years .
Longy alum Paul Shipper received a GRAMMY nomination (Best Small Ensemble Performance) for El Mundo’s Kingdoms of Castille.
Guitarist Tony Rizzotto (MM '13) performs with Boston artist Ingrid Gerdes on All Things Considered.
