Longy Preparatory Division Chamber Music Program
and Longy Youth Chamber Orchestra
Concert in New York City
February 17, 2008
In a weekend to remember, 42 members of the Longy Youth Chamber Orchestra and 11 Preparatory students in Longy’s chamber music ensembles went to New York City to perform in the Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center. Below are photo highlights of these musicians-in-the-making, who travel worldwide representing some of the finest young musicians at Longy. Leading the efforts were Michael Bonner, coordinator of the Preparatory division’s chamber music program, and George Ogata, conductor of the Longy Youth Chamber Orchestra.
