In this live one-hour WGBH radio broadcast, Longy President Karen Zorn shares her vision for Longy, “a very optimistic school” that looks at music and music education in a bigger way — “how music can be a vehicle to make change.” The program features two quartets performed by the high-energy Pacifica Quartet, who are serving a four-year residency in Longy’s Visiting Artists in Chamber Music program, teaching Longy’s students how to both perform and coach chamber music.
